When I was young and not so high
I always had the ground
I’d dance all day, and roll then fall
and never with a frown
As I grew up, I forgot my friend
now that I could reach the sky
I’d jump so tall and climb a tree
thinking that I could fly
I’m older now, and both are so far
I can’t bend nor reach the stars
If I hit the dirt, there I will stay
My old friend now gives me scars
Here I lay for my final days
Soon beneath my long lost friend
To be united with love and
everything, an eternity I will spend
